Wow! b/C every kid I have shown it to were all over it. First thing they asked "is it an EVO? Where can I get one?"
I like the bigger wheels and hope bit has suspension improvements to match.
It will sell well to young generation and even to budget buyers who still want something pleasing to look at.
Add a little more engine performance and it will take sales from Fiesta, Fiat and Mini.

Don't forget: the Mirage is produced in Thailand specifically because Mitsu (and other manufacturers) get big tax breaks to set up factories to produce "Eco-cars".
And there are limits on engine size & power for cars built under this program.
To qualify, the cars produced there are limited to 1.3L displacement (or less) and must get 5.0 L/100 km (47 mpg US) or better (not sure which testing system that number is based on... but probably NEDC).
So Mitsu doesn't have a lot of wiggle room to produce a more powerful engine for the Mirage. In Thailand, the 1.2L Mirage is currently rated at 4.6 L/100 km.
