I drive a brother's camaro and was very fast to test drive, and I test drive a little car it was so sluggish. I don't know anything about cars.

Welcome to the forum.
Hmmm. Serious or not serious...
The Camaro has a much bigger and more powerful engine because it was designed to go fast and feel sporty.
The Mirage has a smaller, less powerful engine because it was designed to be very affordable and get fantastic fuel economy.
That's it in a nut shell.

Hello Jason1999 and welcome to the forum. The Mirage is built to be an economy car, not a sports car. It has a small three cylinder engine and is very efficient with it's use of fuel. Look at the Fuel Economy Log - a link can be found at the top of every page here. You'll see members getting 60 miles per gallon. Remember, this is an ordinary car, not a hybrid. It is affordable to purchase, and affordable to operate.

Apparently he wasn't referring to an '82 Camaro with a 4 cylinder and automatic. Not to knock a Camaro as there are plenty of fast ones.
Probably the best answer to a question like his would be "because Mitsubishi wants to keep you out of trouble". How's that sound?

I would say verified, but I topped 100 in my first car and that was good enough for me. the Mirage doesn't need to go 100. It handles like a dream at 95 though---as long as there's no wind.
