I thought the rebates ended at the end of May in the US. I was interested before the rebate but $2k off was the tipping point for me. I probably could not get that deal now without hours of knockdown, drag out, walk negotiation.

Whoa...1669 last month. That's WAAAAAAY down. Spark did 3857, and is firmly back in command of the segment again.
I met a guy at the gas station who came up and talked to me. he already knew everything about the car and was very close to buying one. the funny thing is that he was driving the same same trim - same year- and same color yaris that I used to drive before I bought my mirage! mileage lovers think alike I guess.

Oops, looks like those were May's figures (for some reason the Canadian sales stats are always delayed by a day or 2 after the U.S. numbers).

Mirage sedan is big in MX (rebranded as Dodge Attitude)...
And the hatch also did well with 459 sold.The Dodge Attitude reported its best June ever with 1,396 units.
