got another one just now - are you not concerned that this foolishness will drive members away?
get rid of the advertisers that do this - don't turn them back on

That's crazy. I don't think this has ever happened to me twice in one day. Are you logged into the forum while browsing?
I sometimes wonder if this is being caused by advertisers or if there's something else behind this. I'm no expert but I have to wonder if there are other ways to cause this redirect.
I updated my browser and haven't seen it since (knock on wood...) I'm using FireFox with AdBlock Plus, Mozilla Multi-Account Containers, and Firefox Lightbeam with tracking protection turned on. I'm not sure if this setup helps combat this redirect problem or not, but there you have it.
Edit: never mind you had one today and one yesterday...

FYI I'm definitely not ignoring this. And I appreciate the reports. They're useful.
The problem is the redirect is designed to appear very infrequently .... we went 10 days with nobody reporting one after I shut down one of the ad networks, so I thought we had ID'd it.

That's not Chrome but a malicious page. And it's not only on this forum. Just saw one today that hung my browser by the way. If you see it, just close the tab.

^ Did you see it on this forum today?
If so, what time?

if the browser is hung - you can still close the tab ?
not saying it's a chrome issue - just saying i was using chrome at the time
it's not much more than an inconvenience, but an inconvenience i would choose to avoid if i were looking through all my forums for interesting stuff to read - i.e. i would visit the Mirage Forum less if it happens that i have to brute force shut my browser and makes me wonder if the exposure to potentially malicious content is worth it.
