AC Compressor Sound

Is it normal that the compressor is making loud klick sounds? After a few hours of driving, it get worse and worse. Sometimes you can even feel a knock on the body when the ac is turning on or off.

That noise is "normal," but maybe a bit louder due to age / wear. However, your refrigerant charge is low and that is why it is cycling on/off so quickly.

That noise is the compressor clutch as it is engaging.
