Even though I bow hunt primarily with a vertical bow (compound bow), I spend a lot of time on crossbownation.com.
When my shoulders were giving me issues a couple years ago, I bought a used crossbow. Some guys own a backup bow, but the crossbow was bought to backup me! I used it one night, and felt like a fish out of water. I went back to my compound bow the next day. Some day I will have to use a crossbow eventually, & I know that.
I really like the guys on Crossbow Nation. Nice chaps like the guys on the Mirage forum!
I'm known as the "Driftless Hunter" in that realm!
You Tube has been a blessing to me! I'm much better at adjusting carburetors on my chainsaws. My chain sharpening skills have improved, too. I've saved hundreds of dollars fixing appliances and things like that. Let's not forget about things like Mirage repairs (brake pad/rotor replacement, cabin air filter change, & something as simple as removing that darn wrench icon!).
This forum and a couple other vehicle forums. And youtube, I watch that over regular tv shows even though the wife has probably a half dozen random subscriptions to different streaming services.
