Yes, that's it. Here in the PNW they are usually referred to as "Swede" saws at least here in Oregon. I think the history is that they were invented by a Swedish company about a hundred or more years ago.

This place never ceases to amaze me. Want something answered? Good chance someone here knows, unless it's intense medical.

    Adding to your good response!

"A modern bow saw is a metal-framed crosscut saw in the shape of a bow with a coarse wide blade. This type of saw is also known as a Swede saw, Finn saw[1] or bucksaw. It is a rough tool that can be used for cross-cutting branches or firewood, up to six inches (150 mm) in diameter. The name 'Swede saw' probably derived from the ovate metal tubular frame version, invented in the 1920s by the Swedish company Sandvikens Jernverk, and additional patents by two Swedish immigrants to the US. Modern versions all share those common features."

I'm actually surprised they have only been around for about 100 years. I would have guessed longer.

Turns out my "no name" electric chainsaw is a fairly expensive and respected saw in Europe. It's an Irka Mogatec that sells for about 200 Euros. I must admit it is hefty and feels like quality. Oregon bar and chain.

QUIET. Very QUIET. Scares the p*zz out of me. Give me my noisy Stihl MS170 please.
