Today I was in a rush and looked down to see I was shifting @6000rpm. No excessive noise, shimmy or oddness. Just solid acceleration to 120kmh. These little cars are the coolest.

Zero, 2014 ES Plus 5MT, written off but not forgotten.
Zero II, 2014 SE, 5MT, climate She's HOME now!
    Shelby AKA "Cute", 2017 ES 5MT, A/C.

Mirage owners look at the world differently than everyone else, but in a better way
We're driving the Beetle of the 21st century, the greatest small car now available!

Buddy of mine was at my house a few days back. I had my garage doors open. He saw my Lexus in there and he points to the Blueberry and says, "I don't know why you don't get rid of that and drive the Lexus." I said, "I'd sell the Lexus first." That's how much I like the Blueberry.

I should have said, "Expensive things are usually overrated!"

I wouldn't loan your nice things to Fummins!

There certainly are over-priced /over-rated things, in this case automobiles.

However, i would say that the MIRAGE is neither.

Curious: would you agree/say that the new 2023 Corolla LE (ICE base model) is overrated for the $ alone?

Not having driven a newer Corolla (I had an early 2000-something which I traded for my 1st WRX), Corollas are known to be top-rated compacts.
They run a bit more price wise than the Mirages, so I couldn't say whether they're more bang-for-buck or not.

For whatever reason(s) my Wife & I are really liking the Mirage- It just has a good vibe to it, and seems to perform very well.
