    Vote --> Curt.

    Once you apply the Curt, your cute little Mirage is transformed into an unstoppable Heavy Haul Tow Rig.

    etrailer.com has a nice installation video for the Curt hitch. It was done on a 2019 Mirage, but it would be the same for any year Mirage.

    If you remove the bolt that holds the fuel filler pipe to the frame, the pipes can be moved out of the way enough that you do not need to drill the hole in the frame on the left side. It only took me a couple extra minuets when I installed the Curt on the Pumpkin. Also if you get the adapter for the lights, you don't need to cut / splice any wires. It's "Plug & Play" https://www.etrailer.com/t1-2020_Mitsubishi_Mirage.htm

    That jogged my memory, too! I didn't drill any holes to install my Curt hitch.

    I never did a wire harness, because I only intend to use it as a bike rack carrier.

    I hope your install goes well!

    I don't feel bad recommending the Curt hitch these days, because it may be the only option for a Mirage.
