Replacement for External CVT Filter Housing

How did you get it to work? Plug and play? Direct bolt on? Curious to hear/read your experience

Surprised Mitsu prematurely discontinued it.

I’ve thought it smart for someone like me to buy 1 or 2. The Mitsubishi part discontinuation is stupid.
Thought I read someone saying it is the federal US law for manufacture to produce parts for 20 years.

The part was identical, and you bolted it on the same way as the other one.

One possibility is that the Mitsubishi dealer made a mistake when he did the VIN check. The other possibility is that the same part is listed under multiple part numbers.

I'm just happy I have a working car again.

I just ordered from Mitsubishi Parts Online. They confirmed the order then later sent an email saying the part was discontinued and would issue a refund. I just purchased from Nissan Parts Online, we'll see how that goes...
