A clock spring from an Australian 2014 CVT mirage that had cruise -
what would be the part number ...anyone ???
Photos I've seen for advertised clock springs on ebay Australia - some do have stamped RHD...so they are LHD/RHD specific!
Failing finding and replacing the clockspring I could perhaps :
1/
Use the one wire/connection that currently used to illuminate the Cruise and Audio Steering Controls, pin 5 and use empty pin 4 to instead allow Cruise signals to go from Steering to ECM -
2/
Or forgo the Audio Control Wires and do the same
- neither are ideal...but probably the first option is better than nothing at all.

Also Used with the Australian Model Mitsubishi Triton MQ Series Utility Vehicle which has audio and cruise controls on the steering wheel.
Looks physically the same as Part Number 8619A167

8619A164 will not fit. Check my post here On the left is Mirage's and it has different tabs that locking to stalks.Originally Posted by kipton

Thankyou for your reply - what clockspring part numbers will work for us today would you know?! I dont know the EK wagon - its not in Australia.
So the 8619A164 is the same issue as 8619A167 - the locking tabs are not correct? ...yet all these sellers all said they will fit my 2013 Mirage! it is crazy!
If no other clockspring is available - Is it possible to use the original Clockspring body and replace the ribbon cabling from one of these Clocksprings ? I see you did something like this already?!

I have but one picture of my original clockspring I took last week showing one tab..didnt realise then the tabs were important to take a picture of back then!
- the picture is showing one tab but not all! Is this the clockspring you have as well

Yours already has 2 ribbon inside (complete 10 pins) for cruise control.

EK Wagon is in Japan only, it's a Kei Car.
The correct clockspring are 8619A362 and 8619A361.
Its possible to take the ribbon cable from 8619A167 or 8619A164 and install it inside original clockspring.

going back through all the photos I took last week when I had everything apart - that shows my current Clockspring Part Number --> 8617A027
Its got the ten pins at the output side connector (C-306) but what about how many pins at where the steering controls connector plugs in connector (C-301)? This other photo - (didnt come out very well) - so Im not sure all 10 pins are there ?
