I bought a 2015 Mirage, where would I look for the plug for the block heater if it has one? Thank you.

Search for block heater install on this forum. It is easy ish to spot if you pop the hood and know what you are looking for.

Heater plug wouldn't be underneath a hood, would it?
The cord is long enough that it could be routed different ways. The block heater itself is mounted roughly in the middle of the front of the engine, towards the bottom.

Thanks for the reply. Surely there must be 2-3 "most common" locations to find the block heater plug on the outside of a Mitsubishi Mirage?

Maybe there is a missunderstanding.
A block heater in a Mirage is an option usually added by the owner. If it does have a block heater installed, the cord leads away from it and ends where somebody put or left it.
It should be relatively obvious. Look at the front side of the engine behind the alternator and if you have a block heater you'll have a household 120v cord zip tied to the cars wiring harness. The instructions from the Mitsu brand block heater show to route the cord along the top of the intake, behind the battery then to the front along the top of the driver's side headlight.
None of our cars came factory with the block heater, some dealers might install one then charge out the hoop for it. It's just a metal dingus that stuffs into a hole in the block. You don't have to drain coolant or pop out frost plugs to install it.
If you haven't found it by now and think you still have one, maybe post a few pics of your engine bay, and I or someone else can point out where it is or isn't.

Thanks Mark!
Yeah...this.
Follow the lower radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. The block heater installs into a hole right next to that point. The orange thing with the cord coming out of it below is the engine block heater...
^^ You may not be able to see any of this just by looking. Take your cell phone and stick it down by this area and snap a few pics. This picture was taken when the car had no front bumper cover...so everything was easy to see.
