This blows my mind. I assume the mechanics needed some warranty time for flat rate pay?

as it turned out, the dealer kept my car for 50 days while ordering a replacement axle and new transmission! The warranty covered 50 days worth of two different rental cars (a 2024 nissan maxima and 2024 hyundai kona). The total cost of repairs was $8000, all covered by the warranty.

8 thousand dollars???
