Looking to replace suspension on a 2015 Mirage ES
95K miles

No real problems with it just want to get less body roll and firmer ride.
Make it less of a power puff.

Where should I start?
Front or Rear?

Try putting airbags in the rear springs. Cheap & adjustable. That or install springs from a 2017 & up.

Which spring would you recommend and where should I get if from?

Autozone seems to think they fit, but idk, I read in another thread that they should be tangential and not progressive.

If you want to lower your Jeep Wranger, that'd do the trick. Those aren't going to fit a Mirage.

Yea that's what I was thinking, they did not look right to me.

I'm looking at these MOOG's now, looks like I have to find an alternative for the rear though.



I'm almost willing to bet money that I get an email saying my order is cancelled because these are discontinued too... MOOG website doesn't have these listed

I think I'd order parts from somewhere else if I were you, or at least don't rely on that website so much.

I'd either give some airbags a try(like eggman suggested) or do a search on the forum. Other than lowering springs, I don't know if anyone makes a replacement spring for these cars.

Some people have used rear coils from other cars that fit the rear of the Mirage. I remember beetle springs being used, I don't know what year.

Yea, 2013 Yaris for the rear. But I need front and rear, and no-one has talked about the front coils as far as I can find. Only the rear. I also don't really want to lift or lower the car but... I'll take what I can get at this point. OEMs are discontinued/unavailable, Eibach doesn't make them anymore, I'm running out of options.

Look up used struts on car-part.com for front springs. You should be able to find a pair of low-mileage ones. They fit any year 2014 and newer. Right and left are the same iirc. 2017 and newer have slightly different spring tension or damping. I've never replaced rear coils in any of the work cars and some of them have been loaded down pretty heavy. I've replaced a couple of front struts(with springs) with used ones when the old ones started leaking on some of the higher mileage cars 450k kms.

I've a bunch of rear shock bushings wear out causing clunks in the back end. I replaced them with new Monroe shocks that don't seem to last, they started leaking in under a year.
