Curious to know if anyone has installed ITBs (Individual Throttle Bodies) onto their mirage, or know of one in another country.
I am wanting to do this as will make a crazy induction sound.
Just over here the kits cost $1500+ for a kit.

while ITBs do have an awesome sound, they are also used for performance.
I can imagine ITBs with free flowing header and exhaust + tune would have good gains, maybe 15hp or more with higher octane fuel.
^ if you're able to use an aftermarket ECU with ITB tuning capabilities that would be feasible

I think it would be better to design the ITBs into one big CAI like this
the bigger airbox the better
Problem with ITB's is that their size is important in choosing the correct set as there is no longer a shared air cavity. This set up with a single filter is a good idea in order to keep them clean and from ingesting debris, but for the most part, my biggest hurdle will be the drive by wire throttle of the Mirage. Conversion to cable? The GSXR 750 throttle bodies are cheap on ebay and with some fabrication should work. I have not done a drive by wire conversion yet. And that's why I'm dreading that part. As my mirage uses MAP and not MAF, one can plum for vacuum from each runner into a vacuum manifold and locate or relocate the MAP Sensor there.
If you have any ideas with the drive by wire conversion... I'd really be interested to hear about it.

Seconded, I REALLY want a cable conversion.
