Rust on a 2021- 7900 mile car... what is your oppinion...

Real quick, i am looking at a 2021 5speed manual car... it is from (or at) a southern state in the USA... Price is about $13,100. I will include some photographs of the under-neath... it only has 7900 miles, but it doesn't look very good from my perspective, perhaps if it was from Maine where salt and calcium, but not somewhere south, and the mileage is too low... what do you think, thank you in Advance! Looks pretty good to me, just superficial rust. But I'm from Ontario, lol

That is nothing. Surface rust on exhaust is common and the rest looks good.

Do yourself a favor and find a place that does oil-based rustproofing. One application will last for multiple years. The paint on suspension components, etc. is super thin and will pretty much disappear after a couple of hard winters. This is absolutely the first thing anyone should do to a Mirage when they buy one. It's not that expensive, and the results speak for themselves.

Check out Krown or NH Oil Undercoating. There are multiple locations in Maine for both products.

I have a daily driver 2015 that's been treated with Krown. It has almost no rust anywhere. If you don't do anything and you drive your car in harsh winters, THIS is what you can expect as your car gets older.
