Nicely done! These were the type of reviews I was searching for before I bought mine. Those who own the car embrace the many positives.

When I was in your position years ago, I searched for Mitsubishi Space Star reviews. I remember this one in particular. When he took the Mirage on the Autobahn, it convinced me this car would meet my needs perfectly fine. The 78 hp engine hasn't really changed since this was made, but he's driving a manual.

I like how you included tires in your review. 175/65r14 & 185/55r15 are good 23" diameter tire alternatives to the factory 165/65r14 & 175/55r15 tires. All good information for new Mirage owners!

I'll argue that when I pull onto a single lane highway I typically go from a complete stop(0mph) and then get up to speed(60mph).
Am I doing it wrong and everyone else just teleports onto highways?

For me it wasn't about the acceleration. It was about how does the car handle high end speed, noise, & overall driving experience with the manual transmission option.

I owned two cars with 63 hp, but 55 mph laws for the country were still in effect for most of those years.

I was already sensing the cars were dependable thanks to forum members like you!

I remember your review quite well. I also remember Pryme's 3 part review. He owned 2 of the 2017 SE manuals at the time.

Ironically, the Mirage is still standing while many of the other small economy cars disappeared from the market.
