REAR fog lights for 2015 base Mirage

I am moving to the U.K soon where they require rear fog lights to be installed on imported vehicles to pass inspection. From my understanding, and reading other threads on this forum, the wiring is already there, but the lights have to be purchased and installed? The rear fog light symbol is on the same control as the headlights as well. Also, on mitsubishi parts websites I can only find front fog lights, nothing about rear lights. Would anyone be willing to locate that part for me on any websites and link it here? Thanks!

If anyone has had to modify their mirage to meet U.K MOT standards please reply, I'd like to hear your experiences.

The rear fog light on the Mirage is a red sticker that goes over the right reverse light. I do not think it has an independent bulb for it.

If you want to buy & install a 2017 model year bumper you might be able to get away with something like this: https://mirageforum.com/forum/showth...apped-to-LED-s

Id also consider some sort of hitch mount light.

Are you really going to ship a 9 years old Mirage over the ocean? Isn't it cheaper just to buy a Mirage in the UK?

Anyway, in my Dutch Space Star the rear fog light bulb is the same as the bulb for the brake lights. Accoding to the picture @mohammad pointed to it seems the lights in the UK are mirrored too. It has the rear fog light on the right, while mine is on the left. (And yes, I have a left steer). Here you see a few Dutch Space Stars. So even if the wiring is there, it might switch the wrong light. (Depending on the glass you use, of course. Don't know if the position is mandatory.

My Users Manual contains a section about masking off a part of the headlights in left-hand driving traffic. The headlights also illuminate the right shoulder to see the road signs there. Which is undesirable in left-hand traffic, due to glaring the opponent. So I had to stick some tape when I was on vacation in the UK.

Oh also can you link to a website that sells these stickers? I did some googling but I couldn't find anything. And why wouldn't I be able to use my existing 2015 bumper. If i have to replace the bumper it definitely wouldn't be worth it...

Yes I'd like to ship it, it isnt going to cost me because the move is work related, and I put a lot of money into my car last year, so I'd like to get a few thousand more miles out of it.

Might be easier to just wire up a new switch.

You could probably just buy a red bulb. The 2017 bumper has separate holes in it for reflectors that you can replace with after market fog lights. The 2015 has reflector built into the tail light.
