    As a ham radio operator I can and do fiddle with the controls of my complex HF radios while I drive.

    Don't read into this, I don't contest while driving, I don't work weak signals, I don't watch a waterfall and dance around active frequencies. I'm legally allowed to use my microphone without fear while driving. My Icom mic has more buttons than a cell phone!
