I'm in need of a front driver's side window motor and switch for a 2015 Mirage DE

I've been having issues with my front driver's side window not wanting to go up, as if the motor is dead. I took it to the dealership about six months ago and they said it was a faulty window regulator, which they replaced, making it work for a while. That cost $700 in parts and labor. But it's on the fritz again, and this time they're telling me they want $1200 for a new motor and switch, which is on backorder from China or something.

Does anyone have a lead on where I can find the motor and switch? Thank you.

I see lots of Mirage window regulators and motors on eBay. Some are new OEM. Most of them don't appear to be terribly expensive. There are master switches for the driver's door on eBay, too. Maybe you don't need a switch and a regulator. You may have to do a little detective work on your own.

Car-part.com or try Ebay. You should be able to find a motor and regulator for around $100 or less I'd hope. I believe the motors fit all years(can't be postive about that). The window switch is 2015 and probably 2014 only. 2017+ Switches looks the same but the connectors are different so they won't work.

These guys(in Springfield) have a regulator(should come with motor) from a 2017 for $65. The switch won't work from that car but regulator/motor should. https://waltsauto.com/ Most yards won't sell a motor from a good regulator unless you find one in a pick an pull.

These guys show a 2014 and 2015 Mirage regulator so call them and see if they'll sell you the window switch https://brimsimports.biz/

They're the closest places I could find to Groveport.

Ebay is my first go-to site, but I haven't been able to find the motor there. I can get the switch, but the motors they have available are for other doors. Thanks for the info.

Just for a goof, try a window learn. I had to do it after my battery went dead. Here's the instructions... https://www.wheelsjoint.com/mitsubis...-how-to-reset/ It won't cost you anything & if you do need a replacement switch or motor, you may need to do this procedure on it anyway... Just Thoughts...
I didn't know what to do, so I didn't do anything

Good point. Isn't this reset procedure described in the Owner's Manual?

    Some people go for QUALITY!

Ok, I'm only funnin'. I can't bad mouth the Chinese too bad. They are like engineering cowboys. In my experience in China, it is safety-be-damned, they do whatever it takes to get the job (sort of) done. I have some level of respect for that. Some...
