Hello All,
Yes, absolutely this forum helped me make my decision to purchase the Mirage.
My situation was similiar to Johnny Mullett's.
So much valuable info on this site.
I am grateful for the members here, especially Mark for his advice and insight.
Johnny Mullet's first review was excellent and helpful.
Offsite, I must have watched Pryme's 3 part Honest Mirage review a dozen times or more.
I love my Mirage.
Currently working on a sleeping platform for this coming spring/summer/fall camping season.
thanks everyone here,
I got my new old 2018 Mitsu Mirage es plus manual 27k km with camera, screen, all power windows, and keyless doors.
Happy so far.

Found the forum after the purchase. The forum convinced me we did the right thing getting the car!
After the Spark fiasco I refuse to decide on any car purchase! She decides then I reserve the right to complain!

Just wanted to revive this thread but also just a shout out to all that participate on this forum. The combined knowledge on this forum is so amazing about our favorite little car. I don't know of any other small car forum that has the depth of knowledge about their respective vehicles as this one. It will be sad day really when the last Mirage rolls off the assembly line but I know that quite of few of us (myself included) are going to drive our Mirages for as long as possible until the wheels fall off. So thanks to everyone that contributes or just lurks, this is a pretty good place to hang out.

1000% agreed - this community is an incredible, fantastic resource.
The other amazing thing is it's also one of the friendliest.
Our members come from all political, religious, national and other backgrounds, yet 99.9% of the time, the tone is civil and welcoming. Even to new members (who are asking questions that THEY COULD ANSWER IF THEY JUST USE THE $*(#&% SEARCHCHJ BOOOOX!!!). (Kidding.)
I've seen more than a couple of forums ruined by off-topic, toxic, political nonsense that divides & distracts from the main topic:
Our favourite little turd pails! (To paraphrase one notable member!)
I'm happy that people refrain from the divisive, off-topic stuff.
And I especially love the idea that visitors might be researching buying a Mirage, and end up here reading some discussion / info that convinces them to pull the trigger.

It was so devastating to read about the discontinuation though. Why, market? Why do so relatively few people want these wonderful little super-efficient cars?
Surely our modest community is not the only group of people who hate blowing huge amounts of money on fuel or overloading the electrical grid?
2014 White SE with CVT
We're definitely in the minority.
USA: "The average monthly car payment for new cars is $729"
Canada: $797.
Never mind fuel or insurance!
On my budget, that's 4 or 5 new-to-me Mirages every year!
