Very cool..
those match the wheel well opening perfectly.
Do you have any issues with the tires rubbing?
...and what effect do the bigger wheels have on gearing/economy?
Will weld for beer.

View my fuel log 2014 Mirage SE 1.2 automatic: 45.3 mpg (US) ... 19.3 km/L ... 5.2 L/100 km ... 54.5 mpg (Imp)
little bit tires rubbing at the back when got 2 passengers at the back
later will install coil over tein or largus or gab.
fuel consumption effect a little bit..normally city drive from 16-17km/litre down to 12-13km/litre
but last time im using volk racing te37 wont effect the fuel consumption
16inches also but different spec. too much tires rubbing so i sell the wheels
They look a bit tall. I know the perfect size from 14" to 15" is 195/50-15. I wonder what would it be for 16". Maybe 40 or 45 profile?
I love that golden color. Unfortunately it's not available in the USA.

Comparing 165-65-14 4.5 +46 and 195-50-16 6.5 +45
Suspension clearance: Package 2 is 14 mm (0.6'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.
Fenders clearance: Package 2 will stick out 16 mm (0.6'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.
Wheelwells clearance: Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 16 mm. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider lower profiles or smaller rims.
SPEEDOMETER: When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 63.4mph (102.1km/h): 5.7% faster.
Wheel and tire sizes are totally opinionated.
I like meat in my tires. That's just how I am. So I try to stick to tires with 50 series height. Any rim wider than 4.5 is going to look better than the stockies. For the look I want, on a 6.5 wide wheel, 205 looks great. However, our wheel wells are too small for 205s. For 6 inch wide wheels, 195 looks best IMO.
How do the wheels fit? Flush inside the fender? Poking out? Rear and front picture?
I'm probably in a small minority, but I like the look of the standard 14" wheels on the Mirage. With most cars going bigger in the wheel department, the Mirage's small wheels kind of add to the retro look of the car.
I have a CVT and don't do performance driving, so the handling with the standard wheels is fine for me.
Every time I see the Mirage's tires from the front or rear, they remind me of my old VW bug days with those tall skinny non radial tires. Good memories from good times.
My other car came standard with 19" alloys and they do look nice. They give the car a low slung, aggressive appearance.
I'll have to remember how nice my 19's look when I go to replace the tires and have to pay more for one tire than a pair would cost for the Mirage.
My local dealer installed some 15's in various colors on some of the white Mirages on the lot. He had one that had green wheels and they really sharpened up the appearance of the all white car. I was surprised how much of a change it made and what a big improvement it made appearance wise for that color vehicle.
I think the Mirage does look very economy minded in the traditional colors (black, white, grey). Adding some "pop" to the exterior with wheels really makes a difference, especially with the DE having basic hub caps.
My car is the Plasma Purple. That color, the Blue and the Green all have plenty of "pop" on their own, although my wife keeps asking me if they make that plasti dip stuff in a purple tone for the wheels.
