Updated recall and tsb information (for Mirage in the U.S.)

Here's a good place to view updated (US?) recall and technical service bulletin information for the 2014 Mirage:

The site gives a list of TSB numbers ... usually you can search the number and find the TSB details elsewhere on the web.

There are no recalls for the Mirage ... the three listed are, I believe, only TSBs, and were issued in September and October of '13 ... so any Mirages purchased after that have been fixed by the dealer.

Here is a listing of TSB's that you don't have to have a subscription to get:

    http://www.automd.com/tsb/mitsubishi_m/mirage_mm/

TSB's are generally available publicly for free, I'd say if you have to pay for them they are fictional. Also, in my experience the dealer can tell you what TSB's are applicable to your vehicle simply by entering your VIN into their system.

My starter made some weird noises one time last week, probably something to do with this one:

2014 Mitsubishi Mirage (pws) Service Bulletin 368968

NHTSA: Action Number: 10055251 Service Bulletin Number: 368968

    Report Date:
    Feb 01, 2014
    Component:
    (pws)

Summary: Mitsubishi: some vehicles may have improper meshing of the starter gear and ring gear due to incorrect backlash. This can cause a noise when the engine is being started. *js

Thanks! That looks like an even better resource.

All Data is an excellent resource, but is ultimately frustrating for someone that does not have an account or a need for one.

I don't know that AutoMD is a better resource, but definitely more accessible to the general public.
