You can prime your fuel pump and fuel line easily by using a key that doesn't have a transponder chip, you just hold it in the start position and it'll run the pump as long as you hold it there.

Meaning ... with the non-transponder chip key, when holding it in the START position, the starter motor does NOT turn over, but the pump runs. Right?

Without looking it up in the O.M., I wonder if there's a starter fuse that could be pulled that would accomplish the same thing????

yes, and yes you could pull the starter relay probably

When I was playing around with trying to program a key I found when using a blank key, the engine will crank for 1/2 second the first try then might even try again a second time but after that no more starter. I know if using the correct key the car will kill power to the starter once the engine is running if you hold the key in the start position. So you could drive around all day trying to grind the starter worry free.

    I've got a 2019 Mirage manual ES
I opened up the fuse box for the PTC
And there are two relays and 2 40A fusible links.
It seems the third relay and the third fusible link is missing

I just had the fusible link replaced by the dealer and ask them to check everything and when I got the car back I noticed that this third relay and third fusible link is not there
Dealer says they didn't remove anything
So what in the world is going on and my only supposed to have two or did they remove something?
Some Mirages have 3 (older models maybe), and some have 2 (like my 2017 ES manual). Here are some related discussions on the topic -

In the 2014-2015 they had 3 relays and 3 fuses, in 2017 they changed things up and only came with 2 relays and 2 fuses. I don't know if the ptc heaters changed or???

My father got a fancy $500 odb2 programmer thing that can do ETACS as one of the features. Not sure if its been mentioned but I found out there is this courtesy blinker thing that is on by default. If you press a little on the directionals it blinks them three times. I don't find the feature too useful but its something.

Some other interesting settings was being able to turn off the maintenance reminder completely, turning off the wipers going faster over a certain speed, being able to program wiper speed such as rear wiper speed, and having an auto unlock doors function when you throw it into park. Also, most key settings can be changed such as unlock opening the drivers door or all doors with one click, and the lock button making a horn sound on the first click, second click, or never.

There was one feature something about the hazards it had to do with clicking like unlock and then lock twice but I didn't really figure it out.

My student driver's car (2015 Impala) has the 3 blinks feature, & it's been extremely annoying. Kids will sit there & go back & forth trying to turn them off. I literally have to tell them to leave it in the middle & ignore it. Otherwise, they will sit there & go back & forth between left & right signals.

If used properly, the 3 signal blink is fine for lane changes or existing round-about intersections.

How many of you signal when leaving a round-about intersection?

Technically you should, but I seldom see drivers do it.
