You can prime your fuel pump and fuel line easily by using a key that doesn't have a transponder chip, you just hold it in the start position and it'll run the pump as long as you hold it there.
Meaning ... with the non-transponder chip key, when holding it in the START position, the starter motor does NOT turn over, but the pump runs. Right?
Without looking it up in the O.M., I wonder if there's a starter fuse that could be pulled that would accomplish the same thing????

When I was playing around with trying to program a key I found when using a blank key, the engine will crank for 1/2 second the first try then might even try again a second time but after that no more starter. I know if using the correct key the car will kill power to the starter once the engine is running if you hold the key in the start position. So you could drive around all day trying to grind the starter worry free.
