Mitsubishi US sales for September 2014 up 38.92%

Good News for Mitsubishi owners in America. Sales for September 2014 are up 38.92% over Sept. 2013.
Dealers sold 5558 new cars last month compared to 4001 last year. Sure that the Mirage is helping out. However I see lots of Outlander Sports in my neighborhood.
Our Mirage keeps sipping gas, I laugh when I fill it up. The trucks and big SUV's around me (remember this is Texas) at the gas pumps are still filling up when I drive away.

I have been seeing a lot of the Outlander Sports. I didn't even realize they were available with a manual transmission!

I definitely see a lot of Mirages , though.

Benny, the Mirage has only been in the garage since 8/1 so no long term report. But so far the gas mileage is excellent and no problems have appeared. It is a perfect commuter car. Let's face it there are other cars that get good mileage--Prius, Spark, etc.
What set the Mirage apart was the warranty-compare with other cars. And the features that were standard. Looked at the Nissan Versa and they start cheap but pass the Mirage if you add options that are standard on the Mirage. I especially like the keyless start and Bluetooth.
