But from the postings here, I thought that people were having problems related to body roll in there every day driving. Are people having problems during normal driving?
It's not a problem, but it's convenience issue. But then again not much ppl drives like me, I'm maintaining speed (turning on cruise control) on straight ways and am not turning it off if I don't really have to (red light), not even on 90 degrees knee bend turns, and that's where you feel the body roll at most.

While everyone would WANT better suspension, the NEED for a rear swaybar is little to none.

In fact, I would almost rather Mitsu get different shocks/struts than give us a rear swaybar.

Will have to raise the base price of the car maybe?

Be interesting to see how the MIRAGE would do on the test track of MOTORWEEK . Especially weaving in and out of the cones .

If you follow road speed limits, you shouldn't.

Also, if you've driven a car with soft suspension before the mirage, there really isn't much of a difference.

Here's an unfortunately perfect example of how the Mirage's factory suspension tuning is hurting its image:

UK: Mirage voted one of 10 worst cars ever by AutoExpress readers

"Poor handling" is the first thing mentioned.

I just ordered the rear sway bar. I was driving on an overpass like a bridge that has a turn... and when i went over the expansion joint the bump scared the crap out of me. I totally did not expect the huge sway. The event actually made me buy the rear sway bar like i had no choice. Still waiting for it so can't say it will totally fix the problem yet. But I looked under the front of the car at the sway bar and it looks like a corkscrew! I can see why it would not be very effective.
