DirectNova,,, so what happened to your mirage? Sorry it's been 30 days!! I know mine I took in almost two wk ago for the Air Bag sencor and they finely got the part in. So by the time I get it fixed would be three wk. I could of went to the closet dealer but I took it to my dealer where I bought it 120 miles away and they put my wheels on at a discount and one of the tire sencor is bad. So I'm having them fix it. Keep us posted

I've had my Mirage for a year and a half I bought it brand new and I'm at 18k miles now. I've had no issues at all but the only thing I'm starting to notice is sometimes the car will keep beeping like I have the key in the ignition after I have taken the key out. I'll have to put the key back in and out again to get it to stop beeping. Only happens sometimes though.
VegasMirage2, well, someone else burns the midnight oil! Welcome to the forum, I think you'll enjoy it here!

VegasMirage2,,,,,, it sounds like the key needs a little WD40 on it. I know in hot temps it can dry out parts of your car so try some good oil in your ignition . Or oil that's made for that. It sounds like it's sticking .

Put a couple drops of light oil on the ignition key and stick it in the ignition switch work it in and out 10-20 times, wipe it off and repeat. Do not slop oil all over it and stick it in the switch. One of the lock cylinder tumblers is probably sticking. It's a good idea to do that to all the lock cylinders, every year or so.

My first one was fine, but this one had the TCS and ASC lights come on, but they turned off when I restarted the car, but now my air bag light is on. :/
