I've heard other members from Florida complain about dealership misleading pricing before, too.
The ad states - FREE Lifetime Powertrain Warranty with any NEW vehicle purchase. Prices exclude tax, tag, registration, destination, electronic filing, and dealer fees. Prices include all available incentives and rebates. Honest, Upfront, Transparent pricing.
They may be including rebates you don't qualify for. I believe Florida has some expensive add fees or they don't restrict them. Not saying this Mirage couldn't be a good deal. I would be cautious. The OTD price is the only one that really matters. OTD price is the only price I would discuss with a dealership, & I would keep financing out of the discussion until the OTD price has been determined or given to you.
Florida... their doc fees are astronomical! I was going to fly out and pick up a used 15 Mirage ES that was like... $3300. After doc fees and the other typical crap it was going to be a $6000 car! So much for being a good deal.

You have to demand an OTD price. They are not interested in giving it to you. They want to confuse customers with low financing & other stuff. I live in SW Wisconsin. These are the newer Mirages that I would consider when I looked them up a couple days ago. I only used cars.com for my search to make this list. If I was really shopping, I would look beyond that, too. These are all manuals -
2017 74,245 miles @ $7136
2018 32,170 miles @ $8895
2018 16,802 miles @ $8996
2018 35,611 miles @ $9226
2019 6,169 miles @ $9497
2018 12,506 miles @ $9499
2019 14,842 miles @ $10,599
2019 NEW @ $10,999 (White Bear Mitsubishi)
The above prices are asking prices, not OTD prices.
Tax, registration, new plates, documentation fee, & whatever else would be under $1000 total @ White Bear for a new Mirage in this price range. Thus, a new 2019 Mirage ES manual would be slightly under $12,000 OTD from White Bear today, & that would include a lifetime/unlimited mileage powertrain warranty. If you qualified for any extra rebates being offered, it may be a little less. Those seem to change from time to time.
I haven't really seen the Mirage drop much below $10,500-11,000 this past year. Thus, $12,000 OTD seems about right for one of the better deals for a new 2019 Mirage for my area.
By the way - I think it is good to know what is the best deal for a new Mirage before deciding to buy a used one.

Not exactly cheap, but I found this amusing:

Ha! I once sold a car with tear-off phone number strips ... back in 1997!
Where did you spot that?
