Fummy are you only considering a 5speed or would you go with the CVT, if you got a Mirage?

I'd prefer a Cvt would be nice for the most part. Haven't driven a 5 spd mirage. I don't imagine it much different from a sprint/firefly/metro.. If a cvt blows up I'll buy a used one for $500 over a weekend. The first half of my drive home from work is stop and go traffic. I've got a metal rod and a bunch oh' screws in my clutch leg so usually shifting gets annoying after a few days, but a light clutch might not be bad.
