Good site - thanks. I'll have to do some measuring, and maybe then go talk to the tire shop and ask what they think they could fit in there.

I just put 175/65-R14 Goodyear Viva 3s on my Mirage, and they fit fine. Could I have gone a little bigger? I think so. But I want the lightest tires I can put on and I don't want my speedo off by 5 mph.
The 175/65s seem to be working out great. They are cushy, were cheaper than any decent 165/65s, and have a 60,000 mile treadlife warrranty. Plus, the speedo difference is only 2.7% (negligible).
Now if I could only hack into the ETACS and reset my tire circumference...
I ordered the Hakkapellita R2 in 175/65R14. I would have liked to have gone bigger, but wanted a Hakkapellita (rather than the lesser "Nordman"), and didn't want to risk tires rubbing.
My ideal winter tire would be taller and narrower than either of these. I'd like something as wide as the stock tire, but with an extra 2 or 3" in diameter. The 155/80r13 tires I used last year never let me down, but again I couldn't get the Hakkapellitas in that size . . . and it's really a fun word to say: Hakkapellita!
I expect to be unstoppable this winter, but will report back when we get the right conditions to make that judgement.

I had seen those Viva's at Walmart, they looked good . My Milestar 175/65's are also cushy, rides like a magic carpet if I run 36psi. At 44 it's still a nice ride. The Milestars looked like they were very well made when I got them, but I watched the milestar's spin when I re-balanced them after 2k, and they don't run very true. Maybe the Viva's are better / better choice. If anyone is going to 175's it may be a good move to spend the little extra and get a premium brand.

Hi Guys, do you think 185 70R14 tires fit my 2018 Mirage G4? I found a good deal but just worried they are too big! Thanks!

That size is typical for an older Civic. You may be the first to try them. If you do, be sure to let us know how they work.
