Yeah keep us posted if you can get that glove box door. And if it would fit on ours.

my SA still has no update, anyways just a question, if I try to remove the tray does it have a sticker with the partnumber? because I tried to check it this morning and I saw from the back of the tray that it has screws at the back that can be removed from left and right. But when I tried to remove it my problem was I cant remove the tray, I tried to touch the upper part of it but I didn't felt any screw but I think its clipped on top.
Ill update again once I got the reply from my SA. sorry for the delay

There is a steel reinforcement bar behind this area on US cars. Which is probably why we don't get "the cubby".
Yup. Here it is (2017 Mirage G4 sedan):
It's the part that touches the left side of the photo at the 9:00 position. Straight section of round bar welded to those two curved "C" shaped brackets that are bolted to the dash structure.
That reinforcement looks easily removable though, if anyone wants to install the cubby part.
And if your passengers always wear a seat belt.

Did anyone ever locate a source for the cubby?
I wonder if the steel reinforcement has anything to do with the passenger side airbag. It seems like it might cause an injury if someone made contact with the dash.
I believe almost all Mirages everywhere have driver & passenger front airbags.

I would remove that bar for sure if I could get the tray to put in my 2015. Anyone from across the pond want to make some $ shipping them to the US??
