Q: why is that the car moves in reverse even if i dont step on the gas pedal? if i try to release the clutch slowly it moves like your stepping on the gas pedal? is this normal?

As long as the engine is rotating (running) the car will try to move in any gear. 1st gear and reverse gear will move the car if you are good enough with the clutch, without touching the gas pedal.
Ignorance of the experience of automobile operation is unfathomable to me having grown up in the mid20th century car culture in the USA. No need to be embarrassed. If you want to see embarrassment, try me in Manila trying to speak in your language. I just thought about the Mirage being my first car and how fantastic that would have been.
Ask away and thanks for the thanks.

When you bring the clutch to the friction point, it begins to bite and it creeps forwards in 1st, and backwards in reverse. It's kind of like how an automatic car rolls forwards in D and backwards in R
