Definitely helps throttle response and low end.. made it crazy loud and angry combined with a muffler delete.. threw the stock muffler on for the time being so I don't get pulled over lol

In this part of the world, removing or modifying the emission system would forfeit the cars registration and insurance coverage, make you a criminal, and definitely get you in jail. Btw, the second catalyst is standard in all parts of the globe.

Wow, didn't know that would get you arrested. After I had my exhaust done and had my state inspection a couple of months later the guy said nothing about the removal of the second cat. I want that header though. You didn't remove the one that has a sensor did you?

I think it was more directed toward shops which were taking off the emission stuff early in the day, 1978-1980 time frame. Cali specifically states that car must be certified in CA, and must have all OEM equipment. Not sure what Mass nazis have to say.

Of course.. you have too in order to install the header, as stated in the OP the header eliminates the first Catalytic Converter
