The 175-55-15 is an uncommon tire size in the United States. I'm pretty sure the only car (in the US) this tire is used on is the 2004-2006 Smart cars (rear tires only). And the only low rolling resistance tires available in that size (Continental ContieContact EP) are "summer only" tires, not all-season.
I came across some press photos of a 2017 GT and blew them up. It looks like the 15" 2017 Mirage tires are
Yokohama Avid S34. I can't find any information on this tire in this size. These may be new tires created for the Mirage, because I don't believe there's an all-season low rolling resistance 175-55-15 tire available in the US right now. If there is, someone let me know because I'm considering this tire size for my new 15" wheels.
Can this help you?
