I don't know, probably some LED headlights to start?

I'll have all winter to think about it. It's going to be snowing in another month or so anyway so it will be garaged for the winter since it's my 7th car, we only bought it because my son will be starting driving soon and it was cheap. I don't drive my 83 Grand Marquis or 88 Aerostar in winter since they never have been, and I've been trying to stretch my F150 a few years by not driving it in winter if possible assuming I can keep my other three cars going.

I do plan on attempting to drive it the 100k in 10 years since the warranty was part of the point. This will be something of a departure for me because I'm used to spreading the mileage around multiple cars. My highest mileage vehicle at the moment is my 97 Grand Marquis which has 94k, I bought that from my elderly great uncle so I've had it nearly 16 years and it had 34k when I bought it from him, so it takes a while to get there on any given car.

I wouldn't want your car insurance bill - it must be quite expensive.

It's expensive to a degree however if a car breaks down I'm not immediately obligated to fix it, have it towed to a repair shop and pay through the nose etc. I can switch to another, go to junk yards, hit up eBay, and take a few weeks to fix it.

I had a car jump the timing and $1100 and get a junk it not worth it estimate. $150 in towing and $50 or so in parts for a new timing chain I was back up and running for another 30k miles before I sold it. However it took 2 1/2 weekends.

I'm sure the long term savings vs. cost balances out, but I'm willing to tackle major repairs and just need time. A lot of cars buys that, it's just expensive to carry on insurance.

Aside from that you get variety in what you drive. Since you rack up less mileage cars last longer. You get that quizzical look when you're still tooling around in an 88 Aerostar.
