While I agree that corn should feed people, it would be a country's genius gobment officials that are the nitwits that decided to make policy out of burning corn. Not a political reply because I think all politicians on both sides suck.

I posted a vijeo a while ago that claimed that corn fuel was supposed to be the almighty savior for the environment and the globals warmings or whatever....but is theoretically causing more harm than good as tilling the farm land is producing more carbon emissions than it's supposed to be preventing. That is if I understood and remember correctly.

Spend a dollar to save a penny.

Those kind of studies need to be kept secret from our trusty gobment officials. Or else they may make laws banning tilling / farming. And may require cows to have corks shoved up their butts.

I think the most logical thing to do is start eating used car tires. But I'm sure it's unethical to eat rubber.

90% of my meat is venison. It's home grown, & I don't have to plant much of anything to grow deer around my home. I've had venison the last 4 nights for supper. I have some wild turkey breasts that I want to make in the crockpot one of these days soon, too. Last week, I had northern pike fillets from my recent fishing trip on two different nights. I am saving the walleye fillets for another day.

If I run out of good meat, I do have a leftover Dunlop Enasave tire in the garage. If I am not that hungry, I may have a couple old bicycle tire, too.

I read an article recently about how adding ethanol to gas is harder on the environment, too! Not to make this political, but they are pushing for more ethanol use. Yet, it makes no sense at all! Logic has gone out the door! I'll stop there, but I am tired of stupidity!

The shift to chicken in recent years is probably a move in the right direction for some countries. The environment takes less abuse from raising chickens versus cattle, sheep, & hogs. I think pork is still the number one meat in Europe, but chicken may surpass that eventually.

Good thinking. That reminds me, I need to go on another fishing trip. A buddy and I took our dads out here about a dozen years ago. It was by far the best trip of any kind that I've been on. We caught a ton of salmon, a bunch of Halibut and drank a lot of beers!

    Maybe.

Mark - I'm jealous of all the meat you get to eat. If I had it my weigh, I'd eat a big ole juicy grilled steak every day.

It would make way more sense to resurrect the methane stills used in Europe during WWII because all countries were pouring fossil fuels into the war machines. These days 2022 is making do-it-yersef fuels REAL attractive.

This E-10, 15 % 85 is nutzo but it is making a mint for the politicians who pushed it. Farmers have little choice these days since they traded their land for government security and control.

More methane! More methane! C'mon, chant "more methane!"

You know we're a bunch of cheapo's when we drive the most efficient non-hybrid vehicle and still complain about fuel prices lol

I still agree that ethanol is stupid though.

    Now get off my lawn~!
