That is cool af. That's what the Ralliart version SHOULD have been.

Not about my Mirage but my OS/ASX/RVR I had the opportunity while driving in "Mexico" recently to determine that 5000rpm in 5th gear is 121mph / 194kph.

That's an understatement. I know Scotty Kilmer would recommend a Corolla.

It's not too late to do this. Be sure to post pictures!

Wouldn't using a donor car and getting a team to do it be only $20k?

what donor car would you use?, there is no direct fit parts. Significant custom fabrication is needed to make a rear subframe fit. Such modification is likely illegal.

I imagine stiffer springs, shocks, and a rear sway bar would make much more sense than trying to fabricate a rear sub frame.

I believe you can also get a rear disk brake kit for the mirage.
please consider checking out my Mirage related youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6c...IEViRFw/videos

Installing stiffer/taller/shorter springs, shocks, and a rear sway bar could likely be considered just as illegal. Same with modified brakes. What would Foama say?

In the US we don't care about legality like the Brits don't. We're not Germany where most car mods are illegal.

Technically my current setup would be illegal.
