Put the winter tires/wheels on, managed 2,122 KM on the all seasons this summer.
The oil & filter has 1,904 KM on it, I don't feel like doing a winter oil change this year.

I changed the intake manifold gaskets and fan belt on my mirage.

Two of the old intake gaskets were flat and burned, except one, will take a photo later. The engine sounds a bit quieter when i accelerate... While doing this job i found some carbon deposits on the injectors.

I am not a mechanic but am pretty impressed on how easy is to work on this car by following the service manual guide.

Question: Has anyone ever done Intake and exhaust valve clearance on your mirages?

I don't think anyone has bothered to check valve clearance.

The highest mileage mirage at my work has to be around 460,000kms and I've never touched a bolt on the engine other than replaced the spark plugs a few times and regular oil changes.
I did of course, only that I forgot to take a picture bit too late now 😁
Mine has got 153k KMs, I'll probably need a new suspension soon

That star thing. That is cool ... for a girl!

Don't be mad, I'm only funning around. To each his own. I like stuff that is not typical for a full on Shrek.

As much as I like the Mirage. And as much as I like that spoiler, I really do, I don't consider the Mirage to be the appropriate platform for that kind of mod and money expenditure. Take that money, stick it away somewhere and add other money to it when you can. And use it to buy an appropriate type sports car. The Mirage is an excellent tool ... for saving money. And what an excellent tool it is.

Granted, the spoiler does look good though.

I went with cosmetic changes only, possibly adding Doax's rear sway bar, nothing more. The "boy racer" look looks good on this car, but you ain't backin' it up with much, lol.

    Ed Zachery.

I don't know your age, but if in the future you buy something like a Mustang GT350, you'll be glad you didn't spend any more money on your Mirage than you did. And, may be glad you still own the Mirage as a daily driver.

    Priceless wisdom.
