Atlanta summers are hell though and going to get worse IMO. I'm up for erecting a statue of Bill Carrier, the inventor of AC. He revolutionized development of southern cities including Atlanta, with air conditioned factories. I also think the inventor of the crockpot should have a statue.

    Crockpot - Yes.

A/C - Hmmmmm. It's a double edged sword. It produces more heat than it displaces. So theoretically it is adding to the problem.

Maybe the solution is to have a home in Key West used in the winter, and a home in Tuktoyaktuk used in the summer. And a bush plane. And at least 2 girlfriends (who both love cooking). And a lot of money. And biological blessing. And a Mirage of course.

I filled the fuel hog Mirage today.

6th fill since I got it, and only the 2nd worst so far @ 58 MPG US = 4.2 L/100 km.

Looking forward to some warmer weather and tanks in the 60's.

    It's his custom rear spoiler!

I wait for a little old blue haired lady in a Buick Park Avenue or something to pass me, and then I tucks right into her draft. NASCAR style! 37 MPH.

I finally have a car with all 4 matching tires of the same size again. Put the stock dunlops from that came on the white car(36,000kms on them) onto the black car. Pumped them up to 45. It'll coast forever now, far better than I expected. Especially compared to the 175/65 snow tires I've been running for the past month on black car and previous entire year on the white car. It didn't help that they were down to 30psi. Though they showed 40psi last month when I swapped them between cars.

I figured out the other week that if you have the oem cruise enabled and you shift to neutral(cvt obviously) it cancels itself almost instantly. Rpm only rise a hundred or two rpm for half a second or so. I'm sure other vehicles function the same way but I've just never tried.

Guess what happens if you're using cruise in a 5-speed and you pop the shifter into neutral (without the clutch) in order to coast...

Have recently learned from an alignment tech at a Mitsu dealer that bent front struts from impacts like this are very common. "They bend like candy" he said.
