My wheel covers on the Blueberry were ~$40 total for all 4. They've chipped up a lot. I think mainly from going through the car wash. Because they were so cheap, I don't give one rip about how chipped up they are. I think I'm going to ditch them at my first tire change. And paint my wheels shiny black just prior to the tire change. Using the outgoing tires as masking.

I wouldn't let your up close wheel appearance phase you. At least not enough to procure new wheels.

I think you should paint your wheels and tires blue. It'll probably make it go faster.

As a fellow Mopar guy, you know (or damn well oughta) that gloss black steelies with chrome lugnuts is the coolest factory wheel option ever. Period. No ifs ands or buts...

I'm running the factory wheels on my Scamp. I think they are Rallye wheels but I'm not sure. They're kind of a faded charcoal. They look good even as such. However, after I do the painting (practice) on the Blueberry, I might just do the same thing to the ole Scamp.

I just wish I had some mini-moons. I just don't know enough about them. Even replica mini-moons are expensive.

What about a chrome trim ring?

I don't think I care for trim rings. They have to be in perfect shape, in perfect alignment, and I'm not so sure they're all that great looking in any event.

    Saved by the nannies!

First drive in a couple of weeks (200 km round trip), and I hit some messy winter road conditions.

ALL the electro-save-yer-butt nannies were called into action at various points on the trip: traction control, stability control, ABS.

OH SAVE ME FROM MYSELF, LITTLE MIRAGE!

    ---

Also shown: I got a set of used winter hubcaps for $10, then covered them with aluminum pizza pans for better aero. (With cutouts for valve stem access.)

Why cut out holes for the valve stems, especially if for aerodynamics? Just take off the hubcap if/when needed. Just thinking out loud on this.
