N.Z: Mitsubishi Mirage advertising campaign wins top award

Mitsubishi Motors NZ has won an advertising industry award for the ‘Let’s Do It All Again’ Mirage campaign that played up Kiwis' fond memories for the original Mirage sold in the 80's:

    eg:

Since the new Mirage launch in February this year, sales have averaged more than 100 units a month, the MMNZ website has received the three highest months of traffic in its history and the television ads have been viewed by over 350,000 Kiwis on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

I'm starting to see regular Google ads for the Mirage, including a really big one on YouTube pages.

Of course, this is related to my search history. But Mitsu has obviously bought the ads.

I don't generally watch much TV outside of winter time, but I happened to catch this commercial last night.

Well, the very first voiceover line IS about the "best-in-class mileage"...

But the main message is about how inexpensive it is overall.

I didn't see to much body roll while avoiding that catapillar that so many complain about. Still they should have four hooters girls dodging catapillars on their way to work. hahaha

Funny, I rewound it a bunch of times to that part to look for body roll too.
