Two dumb questions

wow, that's normal. If I were that paranoid I'd consider moving somewhere else.

Crime happens in good neighborhoods too. And even those who live in the rich part of town still have to travel to downtown occasionally. Dont act like an ostrich with his head in the sand. Better to be prepared and to have it and "hope you dont need to use it".

I carry a first aid kit also in my car. Do you consider that paranoid? It not paranoia, in fact I feel calmer than you because I know that I am prepared if a criminal strikes.

If you dont want to take personal responsibility for you and your families safety than thats fine. But dont try to put me down for thinking one step ahead and being prepared. Because violent crime is a reality and happens every day.
