Wow, they upped it again?
Car sales are starting to taper off after a LOOOOONNNNG run of year-over-year increases. They're going to have to discount to keep the metal moving.

I really wish Mitsubishi would just price these cars right in the first place instead of always playing "The Creeping Rebate Game".
Start a base hatch at $10,995 and a base G4 at $11,495. Have them top out at around $16k for a GT hatch. Offer a $15k manual GT hatch. I think they'd see a LOT more of them moving. A local dealership near me has 42 new Mirage hatches on their lot.

USA:
- 1756 Mirages. That's better than the previous 3 months. Total sales for Mitsu in the US are down 4.8 percent from September of 2015. Source.
- 2223 Sparks. Sales have declined in each of the last 4 months since the redesigned model was introduced in June.
Canada
- 226 Mirages. Overall sales are down 6.2 per cent vs. September 2015. Source.
- 921 Micras
- 596 Sparks

596 Sparks sold in Canada last month. Wow. That's their best month ever, and puts Spark ahead of Mirage in year-to-date sales for the first time.

Mirage is selling better south of the Rio Grande than north of the 49th...

Mitsubishi Motors Mexico reported 1,215 units sold during September. The all-new 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage continues its success story in the Mexican market, reporting sales of 466 units.

Do those Mirage figures include the G4?
I know their breakdown has the Outlander and Outlander Sport separately.
Outlanders seem to be selling like hot cakes around here, I'm seeing them everywhere. Of course a low priced 4WD SUV is an easy sell in Buffalo.
I actually saw an i-MiEV the other day. I don't think either dealer here actively stocks them so they must have special ordered it.
In Canada's monthly sales report, they explicitly say the G4 is included.
So I assume they're included in the U.S. Mirage figures too.

USA:
1489 sold. That's the best October for the Mirage so far!
http://media.mitsubishicars.com/rele...-october-sales
Spark's sales slide continues, but GM still sold 2066 of them. Check the trend since June in the chart in post #1.
Canada:
237 sold. Down a bit from last October (249) - not a big difference.
Spark, however, has now passed Mirage year-to-date sales. First time that's happened here -- the old Spark never sold well here. But I'm seeing new Sparks regularly in my little city.
Micra sales were at their 3rd lowest since it launched, but it still sold more than Spark + Mirage combined! (703)

it seems like we've had a influx of new members lately. Here in the Pacific NW Hertz has been selling a bunch of Mirages since they've hit 30K on the odometer. I still don't see any here on the Southern Oregon Coast since the closest dealer is 120 miles away, no surprise really but it's nice we're getting new people.

It seems to be doing really well. It would bet that Mitsubishi is going to put some effort into the next generation because it has really helped their sales out. As long as they keep it around the same price and focus on fixing a few things the next one should do well too. Maybe it will be based off the next Nissan Micra even.
