I can't tell from the photo... Is your paint damaged...or is that color the other guy's paint on top of yours? If your paint isn't damaged I would have a paintless dent repair guy look at it first.

But yes I have no paint damage. Don't want a halfass fix though. Either professional fill and paint, or a brand new door.

Sooo, how did that happen? If it wasn't your fault can you get a cash payout and just keep your eyes out for a used door the right color? I did that with a car I owned, was a great deal for me. Actually walked away with a cheque for more than I paid for the car.

PDR by a pro is no half-baked repair. It's actually the first option you should consider in a situation like this where your paint hasn't been disturbed. There's NO body/paint work involved, so your original paint remains intact. It's also the least expensive option. If it's repairable, you will never know it happened after a good PDR guy is done with it. Around here that would probably be a $300 job and maybe take a couple of hours. And if it doesn't involve an insurance company, no CarFax repair history to kill the resale/trade-in value of your car.
Here's the guy I use locally...

I did this as well. My Mirage had the right rear door backed into by some inattentive idiot about a year after I bought it. I just unbolted the dented door and bolted on a good door I ordered from a wrecking yard.
As far as I know the doors from the '14-'18 models are all the same.
