Which do you prefer - Sedan or hatcback and why?
My previous car was a 1999 Saturn sedan. I've got a 2015 Mirage hatchback. I've not driven the Mirage G4 sedan.
I like my hatchback. It holds a surprising amount of stuff, with the seats folded down.

Hatchbacks.
I like hatchbacks. I think they are practical. A station wagon is even more so.
Can't stop thinking about them.

I can't think of a single reason to get a sedan version of a small car like the Mirage or Yaris - not one reason.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but the rear seat in the G4 does not fold down. That would be a deal-breaker for me if I was looking for a sedan.

Do sedans have better aerodynamics?

Hatchbacks generally have better seating position and more room for taller people.

Have you ridden in a 1988 Dodge Daytona? I had a Pacifica trim and thought it was great. I liked that it had a lower center of gravity along with the Chrysler 2.2L Turbo I engine. For it's day it was a fine car and not too shabby with fuel consumption.
Oh, those disappearing headlights...

My buddy at work that's older than me by a few years had a Daytona Turbo Z eons ago. I think his was an '86 black, had the t-tops I believe. Doesn't have it now. Told me the daytona outcornered faster than anything "american." This buddy of mine digs my mirage and not everyone's cup of tea for sure. The rims he had are the sort that would suit the mirage, all aluminium face

The G4 seats do not fold down. Dumb idea. I like the hatchs because of the ability to haul stuff. I wish they hadn't cheaped out on the seat backs tho. They need more reenforcement there, not just cloth over a hole. They also need something more than thin cardboard over the spare tire. Anything heavy has to be placed to the side.
