I noticed the following scratch (I did notice it at the dealership but I thought it was wrapping paper...later I forgot about it after the test drive).
What should I do? If I leave it alone, is it going to rust and cause problems?

The least you could do is just clear coat it.

I have similar problems with the edge of the doors touching the garage walls. The result looks the same.
So I had some paint mixed and put into a spray can. A liitle of that paint and the help of a little water colour brush, and you hardly notice it any more.
Rust: You don't get rust creeping away under the paint, the metal is protected well.
With a new car, I would certainly use wax spray in the cavities, and in the seams of the doors, trunk lid and motor compartment lid.

So since it's not going to rust, can I just leave it alone? I might get it fixed down the road (5+ years later etc).
Its so easy to do something about it! I don't know if the rust-protection will last that long, I would take care of it and have one worry less.
The least thing you could do, is put fingernail polish over it...
Talked to the dealership, they will take care of it and asked me to bring it tommorow 10am....it's about an hour fix.
They told me to bring it only if it doesn't rain......it does rain here from 1am-7am, cloudy rest of the day.....does that matter? Now sure exactly how they will fix it.

Hopefully they have an experienced detail guy who will be able to carefully apply some touch-up paint with a pen-tip applicator or fine brush. A slight buffing after that and you may be hard-pressed to find it once they are done.
If it rains overnight but it's not raining at 10:00 am, take it in.

That will be dry in less than an hour when they touch it up. I was going to say, bring it in if you just bought it. Glad you are.
Ahh it's raining today and the dealership said the painter guy will probably not come in today so we had to reschedule. He is available every day next week except Friday. Due to other commitments, I can only go next week Saturday so we setup the appointment for then.
Do you think it will be OK 1 week? The service manual says it should be patched up asap due to corrosion.
