Time to get drunk enough to forget about gas prices!

We were totally energy independent & gas was under $2/gallon not that long ago.

    Apparently, something changed?

I went 2 days ago to top off my BIG Blueberry (Dodge Ram). Fuel was $3.999 a gallon. The friggin pumps had a problem and I only got $0.12 worth. Went again today, it's $4.399 a gallon. I got 20 gallons wortht because 2 weeks from now it might be $10 a gallon.

That pump failure cost me $8.00. $8 buys a lot of bean burritos. Scratch that, it used to buy a lot. Now it buys maybe 4.

The little Blueberry saves me lots of bean burritos.

I had more fuel in my truck than I had money in the bank so I didn't top off last weekend. I haven't put fuel in it since September, it's very efficient when it doesn't move. In the next month or two I'll bring a tube oh' lube with me to the pump. I was seriously considering ditching the dodge and buying something like this Then I could bring some more toys camping, maybe bring the Mirage along in case we gotta run 2hrs to the nearest town for milk(beer). My folks might be buying an acreage nearby, if that happens I might have to just have mini holidays in their yard for a few years til the money printing stops.
