The Nissan Juke is about 1000 lbs heavier so 94hp with a CVT will make the current Mirage seem like a Ferrari !

It'll probably be a semi-automatic or CVT. There's only CVT with the Eclipse Cross which is 1.5 turbo diesel.

The press here is full of stuff about the Renault 1.5L Diesel engine. You may want to google about NOX emissions in everyday situations versus the official figures. "Cleaner" than the clean Diesel, if you know what I mean!
If one of them drive in front of me, I keep an extra distance and hope someone overtakes me.

If the current Mirage/Spacestar is replaced by a heavier, less economical car, it probably won't be very successful in these parts, and I will certainly not ever think of buying it.

I doubt they would be interested if you rightfully complained about that trash. See what I did there

I test drove a Juke a few years ago and didn’t really like it. All I see with it merging with a Juke is getting bigger and goofier looking. If this merger ever does take place I surely won’t be getting one.

"...not as yet another SUV, but a small, sporty hatchback that will rival the Suzuki Swift.."

Currently rumors right now but I would love to see a turbocharged Mirage again, especially in a 'sportier' version with a manual transmission.

what is up with this turbo everything? They are unreliable, and even more so with CVTs.
