Nope, the GT has 175/55R15 the extra 10mm of tire makes all the difference! j/k
Man, now I wish mine was black, those white wheels really look good. I'm sold on 195/40R17 on 17". I might even plastidip the new ones white... (they are gloss black)

It does seem a little confusing, because the Mitsubishi website list trim levels as ES, LE, SE, & GT (ascending MSRP).
ES & SE come with 165/65-14 tires (22.4")
LE & GT come with 175/55-15 tires (22.6")
Are the SE alloy wheels 14" x 4.5"?
Are some GT alloy wheels 15" x 5" & some are 15" x 5.5"?
A 5" wide rim is a good fit for any 165-185 width tire. I wish the Mirage came with 175/65-14 (23") & 185/55-15 (23") tires. These two sizes offer a lots of tire choices. Cars like Toyota Prius C even use a 175/65-14 tire size.

We may be able to assume 165/65-14 tires came with 14" x 4.5" rims (steel & alloy). My guess is that the newer (2017-19) SE is still that way, but someone will have to confirm that for us.
The whole switch of the SE & ES models doesn't help matters either.
Thanks for sharing!
All very interesting.
There was another thread like this a few months ago and we all decided that the GT wheels weren't worth it...I agreed then, but still liked the way they looked.
Now that I see they're 5" wide, it definitely peaks my interest again.
My sisters 2015 RF, which has the ES wheels Top Fuel posted, are 4.5" width as well. There is a set of them in a somewhat local junkyard to me with tires...but I don't like the look enough, the the width makes them a minimal upgrade.
Man, this is awesome that this turned into a huge discussion about Mirage wheels hahaha!
Regardless, I'm still looking for a set. Reasonably priced. Junkyards charge about $125 for a wheel or so. That's the price range I'm looking for or a bit less if possible.
